Give to the Office of the Vice President
The University of Michigan is committed to transforming our students’ education by extending academic excellence from the classroom into real-world experiences that develop a global purview and a creative, entrepreneurial mindset.
The Office of the Vice President serves as the central location for the units, programs, and services of Student Life – all committed to preparing students to live lives of dignity and purpose, to channel new knowledge to humane ends, and to promote the public good. Student Life is charged with facilitating a positive Michigan experience for all students and supporting their overall development.
The Vice President’s office provides centralized services such as communications, planning, administrative oversight, research, technology, and professional and organizational development. The VP’s office coordinates the Student Life Leadership Assembly, Family Matters newsletter for parents and families, and meets regularly with its Student Advisory Board (see below).
